Being a composer, sound engineer AND music producer, she set herself the challenge to write and record a song for every day of the 2020 lockdown – and out of this productive time came a whole bunch of awesome ideas for electronic songs. She decided to launch “Mountain” first, as this is what she missed the most during lockdown (being an outdoor adventurer and nature geek).

Luca hopes that her new brand of electronic music will remind people that they are part of a bigger natural system that needs to be preserved, inspire them to explore, and create awe and wonder in their hearts. VALK is the Afrikaans word for “Eagle”.
